James Ellis, born and raised in New Paris, IN graduated from Indiana State University with a degree in Elementary Education. After college he forsook pursuing a teaching career & moved to California to pursue his dream, fitness modeling and acting. Following his dream proved to be successful as he has been featured on over 40 fitness magazine covers worldwide and has appeared in countless fitness infomercials. In 2010 he became a sponsored athlete of Schiek fitness gear. In 2011 he won the WBFF World Championship in the Fitness Model category and shortly thereafter became a sponsored athlete of Magnum Nutraceuticals.
Some of his acting highlights are: 40+ appearances on the Ellen Degeneres show, 5 appearances on Jimmy Kimmel, 2 appearances on ‘The Talk’, and his individual appearances on The Tonight Show with Conan O’brian, The Queen Latifah Show, The Bethenny Frankel Show, The Marie Osmond Show, & Chelsea Lately. He was a referee on the CW game show ‘Oh Sit’ and has also had great features in Bones, Mistresses, & the movie ‘300 Rise of an Empire’, to name a few.
